One tub, one with twin vanities •All new, fully stocked kitchen, quartz counters •Eat in kitchen for 8 •Porch with plenty of seating and glass dining table for 6 •Efficiency with kitchenette and back balcony and entrance •Historic, original woodwork, fireplaces, hardwood floors •Parking •Great for groups @St Philip Square WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE: You need to look carefully to realize our properties are noticeably closer to South of Broad and our buildings are substantial historic buildings, with charm and character not possible in new construction, in a community setting where groups can gather, in an area where it's possible to rent without the owner present, in properties that sparkle with stunning renovation and charming decor. We have a unique offering for wedding groups, family reunions, business retreats, friends traveling together, honeymooners, anniversary celebrants or families with kids. THE APARTMENT: "Favorite, fantastic, fabulous." Everything you could want--tucked away from the street but one block over to King St. Huge space with cozy corners. Lots of rooms with flexible options--rent just a part or have the whole thing. Historic but sparkling new. Striking decor. Part of a big complex with lots of parking, but a house all by itself. Enchanting porch in front, with wicker chairs and tables; hidden back porch with outside escape. Our latest addition to St Philip Square might just be the best one. ENTRANCE Enter the porch from the courtyard (after you park your car close by); go up the charming steps with bead board paneling, then to the right to a king bedroom •(Bedroom#1) with fireplace and private bathroom or to the left to the elegant living room with sleeper sofa and charming fireplace. In between is a wet bar and a door to the second floor porch overlooking the courtyard, the pedestrian walkway and the lovely trees. This PORCH is private, filled with wicker seating and table, and an obvious favorite gathering spot. MIDDLE Behind the living room is the brand new, perfect KITCHEN--good looking, quartz counters, stainless all new appliances, clever touches, perfectly stocked, lots of pots and pans, attractive dishes for cooking and eating and a great find of a handsome teak Indian wedding table providing seating or workspace. And you are just in the middle section of the apartment. Also in the middle, passing the hidden washer/dryer, •is BEDROOM (2) bedroom with beautiful Morocaan king size bed, fabulous art, sunny windows, and a marble double vanity ensuite bathroom with huge marble shower with glass door. That's the middle. •BEDROOM (3) and BACK "PORCH" •ROOM (4) On the back side of the house, behind the kitchen, is a smaller bedroom, with a queen bed and nightstand, a closet, and a great bathroom with a tub and shower. You enter this room from the kitchen/dining area, but the room also opens onto the back "porch" room (Bedroom#3) with a bank of windows, and deck with steps leading downstairs into the back area of the house. This room has a handsome sofa bed and chairs and a super attractive, convenient kitchenette with wet bar, refrigerator, microwave, dishes and lots of storage. There is also another full ensuite bathroom with marble tile, shiplap vanity and walls and gracious shower. This room can be shut off and accessed through the outside steps. It could be rented separately or it could be the place where the grandparents escape from time to time during the wedding weekend. (the mother-in-law suite). It can also be connected to the small bedroom behind the kitchen and so become a part of a two bedroom suite. The options are amazing and we are so excited to have figured out how to create such flexibility. •LOFT - Bedroom #5 Now that is not all. In the middle section, near the washer/dryer, is a spiral stair case leading to the loft. Here you will find windows overlooking the trees, a king size bed, two twin daybeds, a bright rug, a desk and another full bathroom with shower. A bar and a small refrigerator make it private and convenient. Perhaps you put the little children up here. Or mom and dad can stay here, putting the little ones to bed and rejoining the group downstairs. Or perhaps the newlyweds spend their wedding night here, still being with family and friends but private and alone. The options are endless. OPTIONS •We are excited about all the properties in St Philip Square, but this might be the best. The downstairs apartment is very similar without the loft and so has 4 bedrooms/4 bathrooms. An ideal arrangement is perhaps to have the bridesmaids stay in one apartment, the groomsmen in another with the happy couple sleeping in the loft. Why book a different room elsewhere? Perhaps that's why we bought the wedding tables for both apartments. •Another option is to use the space as for a fabulous family reunion. And a business retreat would have many places to gather together and to split up into smaller work groups. Then take a break and take advantage of the restaurants and block one block away. •In addition to the two apartments in this one building, we have 3 apartments in the peach building in front and 3 apartments in the yellow building 2 doors away in addition to the 3 bedroom cottage next door to that. We hope you will take advantage of what St Philip Square is offering! LOCATION We are in the "short term overlay" designated by the city as the only area where apartments can be rented less than 30 days without the owner present. Moreover, other properties in the area either are new construction or are of lesser quality and historical value. Why stay in a new building and miss the charm of what makes Charleston special? Our buildings have received the coveted Carolopolis Award in 1999 for outstanding restoration of important Charleston historic properties. You will want to be aware of the unique quality of St Philip Square and how we compare to other properties in Cannonborough and in the city. PARKING This building is set back from the street and faces a charming courtyard. We have a large parking lot. We promise two spots for this apartment but have access to a lot across the street and can usually accommodate more cars for a small fee. Many guests find they leave the car in the lot and explore the city on foot or spare themselves parking woes downtown by using Uber or Lyft. VRBO NUMBERS FOR ALL THE PROPERTIES: “SPS” offers 8 properties within a "square" that opens onto a shared parking area. Each apartment is a separate unit with unique characteristics. It is the perfect opportunity for groups of all sizes to organize a joint rental but each apartment is separate and is its own place.

What a beautiful apartment!! We had a group of 8 ladies in town for a bachelorette weekend and this property did not disappoint. From the room sizes and the most comfortable beds, to the tasteful decor, even down to the linens, everything was furnished with the intent of providing us a wonderful stay. Jamie was also quick to supply us with an additional parking pass so one of us didn’t have to locate parking, which can be a little difficult downtown. It was beyond appreciated!! It was the perfect place to allow us to enjoy Charleston. Thank you so much!

My family rented both sides of this property, 9 bedrooms total, for my nieces wedding and it was perfect! The owners have thought of everything and the manager, Jamie bent over backwards to take care of our additional requests. The property was spotless, very comfortable, beautifully decorated and within walking distance of so many of the beautiful sites in Charleston. We would definitely stay there again. You can't make a mistake staying in this home!

The host was easy to get a hold of and very accommodating! The house is in a great location to walk to King St and was perfect for a weekend with friends!
